GUANGZHOU, CHINA — In the packed pet-products hall of the 2026 Autumn Canton Fair, Puyuan (Dalian) Pet Products Co., Ltd. put the spotlight on cassava. The company presented its new Premium Cat Litter line — 100% cassava and cassava-mixed — and international buyers opened the on-site microphone to praise it.
The New Stars of the Booth
The 100% cassava cat litter clumps hard within seconds, stays nearly dust-free, and is fully flushable. The cassava-mixed variant blends cassava with mineral clay for fast, tight clumping plus lighter weight and stronger odor control — the premium profile distributors kept asking for.
Buyers Opened the Mic On-Site
Canton Fair buyers are usually cautious; this year they spoke up. Distributors from Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia poured water samples, watched the clumps hold firm, and walked straight to the negotiation table, requesting samples, OEM packaging and exclusive regional agency terms before opening day ended.
Three House Brands, One Complete Line
Puyuan showcased Emilypets, Lovesand and CatGlobal, spanning bentonite, tofu, mixed and the new cassava series, so every visitor found a private-label match. With an 18,000-square-meter plant and 12 production lines, monthly shipments of about 200 containers reach more than 100 countries.
