On August 13th, 1951, Premier Zhou Enlai signed the circular of the Special Administration Council of the Central People’s Government, and rescheduled the anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War on September 3rd every year.
On February 27th, 2014, the Seventh Session of the 12th the National People’s Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) adopted the National People’s Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC)’s decision on determining the Victory Day of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, China, and determined September 3rd every year as the Victory Day of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, China.
